Brittany Haug

Master of Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine, L.Ac, Dipl. O.M. (NCCAOM)

Brittany grew up in New Jersey where she attended Rutgers University & earned a degree in Public Health. Always knowing she would pursue a career in healthcare, her initial plans of becoming a dentist changed once she began getting acupuncture in college. Experiencing how acupuncture helped with not only physical, but also mental and emotional health, is how she knew she needed to be a part of this integrative medicine.

After undergrad, Brittany moved to Boston to enroll in the New England School of Acupuncture. She studied both acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine and had specialized training in Japanese acupuncture. In addition to classroom and clinical hours, Brittany spent much of her time training under her prominent mentors, Diane Iuliano Sensei and Marcus Schulkind. This additional training allowed her to become proficient in multiple styles of treatment such as Dr. Tan, Miki Shima and Kobayashi Sensei's Shakuju Therapy (a non-insertive needle technique).

Brittany enjoys treating patients of all ages with a wide range of symptoms and holds a special interest in psychological issues, women's health and pain management. Most importantly, she believes in comprehensive treatments with a main focus on keeping her patients grounded, pain-free and balanced to ensure perpetual health.

When Brittany isn't treating patients, you can find her dancing, pretty much anywhere. She also enjoys spending time with family and friends, taking her sister's Tabata classes and searching for the best meatballs in town.
